Welcome. I am an epidemiologist and associate professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins University. My research focuses on the decision-making process for critically ill patients, their families, and their clinicians. I'm particularly interested in the long-term outcomes of ICU survivors, ensuring families of ICU patients understand the roles they can play in decision-making and care, and methodological innovations that facilitate rigorous evaluation of interventions in the ICU.
